Digital transformation at EOS has been adopted as a strategic project that will shape the future of the organization.
Franjo Glibo
Head of the ICT Sector
"Digital transformation at EOS has been adopted as a strategic project that will shape the future of the organization through a combination of planning and the implementation of innovative solutions. This process is not only a technical challenge, but also an opportunity to redefine business models and improve the customer experience. At EOS, we approach it with imagination, ambition and a creative understanding of clients, internal resources and market specifics. The adopted holistic approach makes it possible to distinguish and understand three key concepts - digitization, digitalization and digital transformation. Digital transformation is a comprehensive approach that involves changing an organization's culture, structure, and strategy to take advantage of new technologies and market opportunities.
In addition, EOS is already implementing a number of concrete initiatives that include employee training, the development of new solutions and the strengthening of collaboration within teams. This allows faster adaptation to change and fosters a culture of innovation within the organization. Ultimately, the goal of successful digital transformation is to lead to an increase in efficiency, indirectly greater employee satisfaction, cost reduction and improvement of customer satisfaction, thus ensuring and maintaining a competitive position in the market."

Encouraging ideas opens up space for innovation
Over 75% of employees attended EOS Digital Club events in person, and what is especially appreciated is the engagement of employees in new ideas.
Within the club, an internal competition Best Digital Idea was organized. Employees independently and as a teams submitted their own ideas that they believe could improve existing processes or introduce innovations in business. 20 ideas were submitted in the field of application support, development of digital channels, improvement of user experience, legal support, multimedia solutions, internal communication, monitoring and rewarding customer loyalty, and supporting local community. All projects contained a digital component. The best five projects qualified for the finals, developed concepts with mentors and presented them live to colleagues, while the first-placed project in Croatia participated in the EOS Group competition Wall of Fame in Munich and won an excellent second place there. Over 10% of EOS employees in Croatia were actively involved in the project.
Among the great digital ideas, some have already been implemented, and the new digital solutions will offer EOS customers and service users new, useful online functionalities.

Employees are active participants in digital transformation
Through the activities of the club, employees became engaged to the process of digitalization, which affects all domains of business.
Each club meeting brings new educations, interesting lectures, presentation of new internal technological breakthroughs and current trends in the digital world, internal and external guest lecturers, presentation of models, prototypes, knowledge quizzes and interactive questions in which employees can participate through (each time different) new digital tools
In this way, complex systems and new tools are approached in a simple and user friendly way, giving everybody the opportunity to personally try them out, test them, ask questions and gather new valuable digital experiences.
The knowledge gained through the initiativeis useful for everyday work and easier adaptation to new business processes and applications, but also for employees' everyday life because, in addition to business tools, they also learn about digital tools and communication channels that are available in their free time. In the EOS Digital Club, all these opportunities come together under one umbrella, so EOS employees can really say that they are digitally growing together.
